KITCHEN ESSENTIALS YOU NEED IN YOUR KITCHEN TODAY!

Let me start with… I am not much of a cook but when I do… I go all out! I used to work for the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. corporate office in my younger years and I learned a thing or two about kitchen essentials and why spending the money on kitchen products are important. So I’ve curated some of the kitchen essentials you need in your kitchen today! 

1. VITAMIX

I cannot even explain how much I love my vitamix. It’s expensive and when we first bought it, my husband thought I was crazy for wanting to buy such an expensive blender but to this day he says that it was the best kitchen investment we’ve ever made! I’ve used it to make smoothies (duh!), juices, peanut butter, salad dressings, soups and so much more. It literally is amazing! Just trust me on this. If you drink smoothies on a regular basis, you NEED this. 

2. DUTCH OVEN

I know what you are thinking… you’ll only use a Dutch oven like once and never pull it out again. I love soups, sauces, etc. and a Dutch oven really just stepped up my cooking game! They are made to keep temperatures even during hours of cooking. They have tight-fitting lids keep moisture in. And because they’re a cast iron, they’re capable of reaching heat levels that other pots can’t reach to really brown or braise. 

3. TRADITIONAL HAMMERED WOK

We have recently started using a wok for everyday cooking and we love it! Not only is the pan large to cook a bunch at one time but it heats fast while cooking everything evenly. It does require some “seasoning “ but in my book, well worth the work! Definitely a kitchen essential! 

4. ESPRESSO MACHINE

If you’ve read any of my other blog posts, I’m sure you can tell that I’m a big coffee person. So, its essential in our house to have an espresso maker. I’m not the best at making at home espresso drinks but does make my life easier!
