Sleep aids that actually work

SLEEPING AIDS THAT ACTUALLY WORK!

Doesn’t everyone struggle with lack of sleep? I really have trouble sleeping when I’m stressed AF! But over the years and many different trials, I think I’ve perfected my sleep aid recipe! See my sleeping aids that I love and that actually work!

1. TEA

We love a good tea. One of our favorite evening teas is the Aveda tea. Something about it helps calm your senses and soothe. Plus it’s caffeine free and organic with no sugar added!

2. SLEEPING AIDS

Olly Sleep Vitamin Gummies - Sleeping aids that work

We rarely take these. In matter of fact, I only take them on the weekends because I’ve been known to sleep through my alarms if I take it on a weekday (oops). But this will really kick you into the zone of you need a little boost. Bonus! They are gummies and everyone loves gummies, right?!

3. AROMATHERAPY

I live for my sleep aromatherapy. I use it almost every night (mostly because I love the smell). My husband doesn’t enjoy it as much but I think it’s a great addition to my evening routine.

4. CANDLES

I love a good smelling seasonal (or traditional) candle and there is nothing more perfect than lighting a candle to set the  bedtime routine. There are a million different types of candles out there and I made you a list of my favorite candles based on the season! Check it out

5. READING

Reading in Bed - Sleeping aids that work

To me, reading (and out of a real book – not a phone) is relaxing, comforting and always puts me right to bed. Nothing like a good book in hand and cozied up in a warm bed!

Some books I’m reading or on my “must read” list:

Dear Girls by Ali Wong (Link)

The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen (Link)

The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory (Link)

The Mind-Gut Connection by Emeran Mayer (Link)

Genius Foods by Max Lugavere & Paul Grewal (Link)
