MY SIGNATURE CANDLES BASED ON THE SEASON
I grew up in a household where my mother would light a candle every single night. It didn’t matter if it was just us or if she was throwing a party, there as at least one candle lit. It was just apart of my life and I loved it! From learning from the best (my mother, of course), I have refined my go-to signature candles based on my mood and season.
SUMMER CANDLES
Diptyque Vanille Scented Candle – Personally I think you can use this scent anytime throughout the year! Trust me, it’s THAT good! And worth the money!
Archipelago Botanicals Monterey Luxe Candle – This brand has a lot of different amazing candles to choose from. Some of my other favorites are Laguna and Palm Beach!
Anthropologie Palo Santo Rosewoods – I recently ordered this candle up on weekly Anthropologie online shopping trips (trust me, I know it’s bad for my bank account but… COVID) and it is pleasantly surprising how much I love it! I also bought the Neroli June and love it!
FALL CANDLES
Jo Malone London Blackberry & Bay – This is a lovely candle for right at the end of summer through early fall. It has hints of blackberry and cedar wood!
Jo Malone London Red Roses – You will find out quickly that I love Jo Malone London candles… But overall, this is another great fall scent as it has touches of lemon but also has the strong red roses note. This is also a great romantic-date-night-at-home fragrance!
Avalon Lustered Glass Pumpkin Sweet Vanilla – I like sipping a PSL but I’m not a huge fan of my house smelling like pumpkin… But when I smelt this candle, things changed a little. This was the perfect note of vanilla mixed with a little bit of pumpkin. Also, here’s a close second (The Voluspa Japonica Pumpkin).
WINTER CANDLES
Voluspa Ambre Lumiere – If you love exotic scents, like I do, you need to get this candle. It has hints of Indonesian patchouli, which is described as having a dark, musky-earthy aroma profile. A perfect fragrance for the winter months!
Jo Malone London Pomegranate Noir – With notes of pomegranate, raspberry and dark wood, this fragrance is perfect for the cold nights at home (sitting by the fire, of course)!
SPRING CANDLES
The White Company Seychelles – This is a perfect everyday spring fragrance with exotic coconut, vanilla and almond throughout.
Voluspa Milk Rose – This one is a fun scent for the spring as it has notes of Bulgarian rose, marshmallow milk and white copali amber.
FUN CANDLES
Voluspa Birthday Cake – This is a fun candle to have around to celebrate your special someone (or yourself!) as it will really spark the mood!
Voluspa French Toast – Looking for a morning pick me up with your coffee? Don’t worry, this candle will make you want to eat it (it smells that good)!
Boulangerie Jar Oatmeal Cookie – I love cookies. I love everything about them. The scent, the taste, the texture, etc. So if I can smell a cookie all evening… Trust me, I am one happy cookie (get it?)!
